A Jan. 30 auction in Adams Co., Ill., saw cropland selling from $8,100 to $10,250 an acre. The offering featured a total of 286 acres and was located two miles north of Mendon. It was offered in six tracts.

Tract 1: 41 acres, nearly 100% tillable, PI 119.9 with 147 equal to maximum per Illinois Bulletin 811, $10,250 an acre.

Tract 2: 58 acres, 51.5 acres tillable, PI 113.6, $8,100 an acre.

Tract 3: 45 acres, 41 acres tillable, PI 103.3, $8,100 an acre.

Tract 4: 86 acres, 77 acres tillable, PI 119.1, $8,250 an acre.

Tract 5: 41 acres, 24.5 acres tillable, PI 109.8, remainder pasture, $5, 475 an acre.

Tract 6: 15 acres, farmstead with old abandoned farm house, $127,500 total.
