Some 629 acres of Cheyenne County, Neb., dryland cropland passed under the gavel Dec. 8 for a total of $765,000. The ground was located 5.5 miles west of Dalton and was offered in several tracts.
Tract 1A consisted of 291 acres with 284 acres of dryland cropland and small farmstead (no farm house) with quonset grain storage. It brought $1,297 an acre.
Tract 1B was 287 total acres with 284 dryland cropland. There were no improvements. It sold for $1,197 an acre.
Tract 2 was 50 acres in total with 47 acres dryland cropland. It sold for $1,196 an acre.
