An Oct. 8 auction in Chase County, Nebraska saw 828 acres sell for $2,837 an acre. The tract was one of two units offered that day. The 828-acre tract was located west of Imperial. It featured 498 acres under center-pivot irrigation with 137 acres in dryland dropland and 184 acres of pasture. There was also a 7-acre farmstead. Two irrigation wells, pumps, motors and two pivots was included in the offering.
A second tract consisting of 1,672 acres also sold that day. It was located south of Imperial and brought $956 an acre. It consisted of 80 acres of pivot-irrigated cropland, 78 acres dryland cropland and 1,514 acres of pasture. It also included the irrigation well, pump, motor and one piviot rig.
The property was offered in eight combinations of parcels, combos and units. It sold as two units.
