A Dec. 29 auction saw 126 acres of wooded and open land in central Indiana bring $3,300 an acre. The farm, totaling 150 acres, was located south of Nashville in Brown County inside Hoosier National Forest.
The property was offered in three tracts with tracts 2 and 3 selling together. They totaled 126 acres with 62 acres open land and the remainder wooded. Included was a pole barn with office. The tracts sold for $3,333 an acre.
There was also a 24-acre tract with a three-bedroom home, barn and some fenced pasture. It sold for $5,625 an acre.
