A July 27 auction of 1,182 acres in southwestern Indiana saw large cropland/woodland tracts sell for $3,900 an acre. The tracts, located on the Warrick and Spencer county line bordering the Ohio River featured tillable cropland, woods and river front.
Tract 1: 96 acres in Warrick County with 59 acres tillable with road frontage near Yankeetown, balance in wooded bottom or hill land; $1,100 an acre.
Tract 2: 267 acres in Warrick County with 6 acres wooded with the remainer tillable; road and Ohio River frontage; $3,900 per acre.
Tract 3: 517 acres in Warrick County with 256 acres tillable with road and Ohio River frontage; $3,900 per acre.
Tract 4: 200 acres in Spencer County with Ohio River frontage; all wooded; $400 an acre.
