$7,000 to $7,300 per acre in Eastern Nebraska

An April 30 auction in Wisner, Neb., saw 307.6 acres located in Cuming and Stanton Cos. sell for $7,000 and $7,300 per acre. The Stanton Co. property consisted of 155 acres and was located about six miles west of Pilger. It was nearly all tillable. The buyer receives all of the 2016 cash rent, with 50% of the rent totalling $21,900, credited at closing. That property sold for $7,000 an acre.

The Cuming Co. property consisted of 152.5 acres located 3 miles northeast of Wisner. It was also nearly all tillable. The buyers receives all of the 2016 cash rent, with 50% of the rent, totalling $22,800, credited at closing. This property sold for $7,300 an acre.
