$8,100 per acre in South-Central Nebraska

A Feb. 24 auction of 160 acres in Fillmore, Neb., saw the pivot-irrigated cropland selling for $8,100 an acre. The farm was located six miles northwest of Milligan. It contained 157 cropland acres and an irrigation well drilled in 1982. The center pivot is owned by the tenant and did not sell with the property. The SRPG for the farm is 68.9.
