An auction Wednesday in Phelps County, Neb., saw 161 acres sell for $9,200 an acre. The farm consisted of 242 acres was located south of Loomis. It was offered in two tracts. Both tracts featured Class 1 soils and center-pivot-irrigated cropland. The pivots and pumps were included. A new well was drilled in 2016.
Tract 1, consisting of 161 acres, brought the $9,200 an acre.
Tract 2, consisting of 81 acres, brought $8,450 an acre.
