An Oct. 7 auction of 372 acres in North Dakota saw prices range from $950 to $1,500 an acre. The ground in question was located in Sheridan County in two tracts north and northwest of Goodrich.
Tract 1 consisted of 227 acres, of which 71 were cropland with a soil PI of 65. The balance of the property was approximately 156 acre of pastures, hay land and a milking barn. It sold for $950 an acre.
Tract 2 was 145 acres, of which 109 acres were cropland with a soil PI of 71.5. It sold for $1,500 an acre.
