Oct. 13 saw two tracts of dryland northwestern Kansas cropland totaling 310 acres sell for $2,300 an acre and $2,400 an acre, respectively. The ground was located about nine miles southwest of Goodland, Kan., in Sherman County.
Tract 1: 160 acres with 156 acres of cropland brought $2,300 an acre.
Tract 2: 160 acres with 154 acres of cropland sold for $2,400 an acre.
Tract 3: 160 acres, located five miles southeast of Goodland, with 62 acres of cropland and 97 acres of grass and a livestock well sold for $1,125 an acre.
