Fund cuts will hamper EPA's ability to run riot across the nation enforcing the Obama administration's Waters of the U.S. and new climate rules, suggests the Wall Street Journal. The publication points out the recently passed federal budget refused the president's request for $451 million in new funding and has cut the budget by 21% since fiscal 2010. EPA have cut more than 2,000 full-time employees over the same period and its manpower is now at the lowest levels since 1989, it states.
