Here's an interesting take on the recent food-poisoning mess at Chipolte Mexican Grill restaurants. It is a commentary from Holman W. Jenkins, Jr., of the Wall Street Journal. In a Dec. 30 piece, he suggests the best outcome from the Chipotle mess would be if "food hucksters" no longer found the word "natural" useful. His thoughts take the line that Chipotle's arrogant marketing equated "natural" with "healthy" and that foods delivered potentially containing GMOs and handled in extensive ways to ensure that they are disease free are "unhealthy."
